Comprehension is the second to simple type of questions. "To demonstrate understanding of facts and ideas by organizing, comparing, translating, interpreting, giving discriptions, and stating main ideas."

Q. Summarize why the Sun is very important to life?

A. THe sun is very important to life because without sunlight living organisms can not grow. Living organisms such as animals, plants, fish.With out these resources, humans can not survive. That is why the sun is very important to living organisms.


Eample 3
Q. Explain why Mercury`s tempreture can rise up to 750 degrees F.

A. Mercury, because it is so close to the sun, it can rise up to 750 degrees. ( During the day) This tempreture is enough to melt lead. However at night, the tempreture can drop to -300, which is colder than our South Pole.

Example 2
Q. Compare our moon with Mercury. Only refer to the simmilarities.

A. Mercury is heavily cratered like our Moon. Small and big craters are formed because both do not have an atmosphere.The atmosphere protects the Earth from astroids and other stuff from crashing in to us.
